Capita Registrars, Ireland – Client Forum
On 12 October 2007, our Ireland office had a highly successful Client Forum for the Irish market at the Merrion Hotel in Dublin. The Forum provided an opportunity for Irish listed companies to hear how they would be impacted by the Transparency Directive and the Shareholder Rights Directive.
The excellent attendance was a tribute to the quality of the speakers - Stephen Hegarty, Partner at Arthur Cox and Julia Casson, a Corporate Governance Consultant. Clients were also provided with an industry update and a demonstration of the web facilities available to clients to enhance their eComms offering.
Talks during the morning included:
- an Industry update by Pat O’Donoghue, Managing Director, Capita Registrars, Ireland
- the Transparency Directive by Stephen Hegarty, Partner at Arthur Cox, Solicitors
- the Shareholder Rights Directive by Julia Casson, a Corporate Governance Consultant
- Capita Registrars’ e-Comms solution by Pat O’Donoghue
